About Us

In 1986, the Physical Education and Sports Department was founded. The department is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University in Belagavi and has received AICTE approval in New Delhi. One of the institution’s main departments is ours.

The campus life of SJCIT is eco friendly. With a cricket field, football field, volleyball court, and basketball court, we have some of the best sports facilities a campus can provide, with an emphasis on both indoor and outdoor sports.

Students can relax and unwind with a badminton court and other games such as table tennis, carrom, and chess in the indoor stadium. Sports and activities will be promoted by the construction of a multipurpose sports complex including a swimming pool.

Our mission is to develop national and international athletes by providing students with high-tech sports facilities. To achieve the highest ranking in the sports arenas of our state’s and country’s university campuses.
